Ongoing Braze architecture

Fractional Braze architecture:
senior help, no full-time hire.

Your Braze estate works. What it does not have is an architect on it. Liquid gets copy-pasted from the last campaign, the webhook nobody has time to build stays on the list, and every schema change queues behind data engineering. I work on the estate you already have, on the pieces your team should not have to solve alone.

What this is

Ongoing fractional Braze architecture: the senior technical work that sits above campaign execution and below a full-time platform hire. You keep your team, your platform, and your roadmap. I take the architecture work that would otherwise wait.

Liquid templating
Personalization logic that holds up: fallbacks, conditional blocks, connected content, and templates your marketers can edit while the logic underneath stays intact.
Custom webhooks
Braze talking to the rest of your stack. Payload design, authentication, error handling, and the retry behavior that decides whether a failure is visible or silent.
CDI and schema changes
New attributes, new events, and warehouse syncs designed before they land, so the data model stays deliberate and your data-point consumption stays legible.
Technical enablement
Working sessions and written patterns for your team, so the next version of the same problem gets solved without me. Your marketers ship without waiting on a data engineer.

How it runs

Work comes to me as it arises: a Liquid problem, a webhook to build, a schema change to review before it lands, a session to get your team unstuck. You bring the queue; I tell you what I would do and what it takes.

Scoped before it starts
Nothing is open-ended. Each piece of work is agreed before I begin it, so you always know what is in flight and what it costs.
Hourly, with a ceiling
Engagements run hourly against an agreed estimate and a not-to-exceed you approve in writing. Priced after a scoping call, once I know what your estate actually holds.
One architect
The person you scope with is the person who does the work. Nothing gets handed to a delivery team you have not met.
What this is not
This is not a migration and it is not a rebuild. If your Braze estate needs its identity model or data structures reworked, that is the Re-Architecture Audit. If you are still on SFMC, start with the Migration Blueprint.

Which engagement is which

Three engagements, and the difference is what your estate looks like on the day you call. If you pick wrong, I will tell you on the call.

Migration
Choose this when you are still on SFMC and there is a move to make. The work has an end: a Blueprint that defuses identity, opt-out and suppression state, and sender reputation on paper, then the cutover itself.
Re-Architecture
Choose this when you are already on Braze, the account works, and the architecture underneath it does not. The work has an end too: an audit, then a rebuild your team can run.
Fractional Architecture
Choose this when the architecture is sound enough and what you are missing is a senior architect on the estate. The work does not have an end date. It has a queue, and it shrinks as your team picks the patterns up.

Tell me what keeps stalling.

A short scoping call: you walk me through your Braze account and the work that keeps sliding, I tell you what I’d take on and what I’d leave with your team. No pitch.
